Recipe Post 2017 No.10- Rasberry Muffins

Happy Late Bank Holiday! Happy Half Term!

First and foremost, thanks for your feedback for my post on my baking tools. As per usual, it is very beneficial for my blogging etc,etc as well as plastering a big grin across my face (cheesy, I know).

For some reason, I've been undertaking a fruit theme with recipes and somehow seem to have a desire to eating sweet treats which are low-calorie,low-fat, are in some fact good for you, as well as including fruit. I derived this recipe from all-famous Yummly. If you aren't already aware, Yummly is the digital version of the YouTube channel Tasty. It comes in the form of an device app and a website which provides THOUSANDS of recipes documenting in just one click.

In order to stop myself from rambling about the excellence of Yummly, let's jump right in.

Ingredients:

60g of  wholemeal flour

125g of plain flour

a pinch of salt

2 teaspoons of  baking powder

150g of soft light brown sugar

100ml of vegetable oil(I used coconut oil as a healthier alternative)

296ml of water

 1tsp of apple cider vinegar

234g of fresh or frozen raspberries +more for decorating

Baking in the making:

Firstly, pre-heat the oven to 200C, Gas Mark 6. Together, mix the flours with salt and baking powder.

Fill the muffin tins with muffin papers(or cut out the designated amount of baking paper)

Within another bowl, steadily whisk the sugar and oil. Eventually, add water and vinegar to the sugar mix and combine together well.

Stir together the dry ingredients with the wet. After some time, fold in the raspberries.

Equally fill up the muffin cases, popping a raspberry onto each muffin. Bake the muffins for 25 minutes, checking to see they're ready by inserting a toothpick into the centre. If there's batter sticking to the pick, the muffins are not complete.

Allow them to cool for...I'd would suggest 10 minutes before tucking in a eating as well as of course sharing.
